FlowSlow is a collaboration between several organizations interested in creativity, sustainability and organizational awareness. We all share common concerns regarding the environmental hazards that threaten our water and seek to raise awareness by focusing our creativity in ongoing collaborations and projects. This event is an on-river conference that will explore the immediate and ongoing possibilities.
Flow Slow is a river conference with artists, writers, technologists and eco-activists will celebrate pure water. Taking part in the Upper Delaware River, which was recently declared the nation’s most endangered river by American Rivers, the event will combine music, art and conversations to explore the near and long term threats to the watershed of 17 million Americans.
Flow Slow also includes several events off the river and open to the public,. Participants in the event will be asked to think creatively about projects to make or experiment with during the course of the weekend and are encourage to join us during the float down the river. Flow Slow’s final output will be shared online and used to continue raising awareness to the issue at upcoming events the participating organizations are involved in.
