Rentals, Camping, and logistics

This event is public and available for all to join.  The day part of the event will be on the Delaware River, starting at Skinner’s falls and ending up in Narrowsburg, NY.

Rentals

For those that need a tube, canoe, or raft, we are working with Lander’s River Trips – which is based in Narrowsburg – to provide us with the equipment.  The cost for a canoe or raft is $36 for the day includes transportation from their Narrowsburg campground to Skinner’s Falls.

It is recommended to call and reserve your tube, canoe or raft in advance as this is their busiest time of year.

Travel

For those traveling from the city, we are exploring various bus and carpool options. There is bus service to Monticello, NY via the ShortLine Bus service, and the Metronorth Railroad can take you to Port Jervis.  We will do our best to assist with making sure all visitors can make the event, but please email us or work with the organizational contacts you heard about the event from, to coordinate efforts.  Our facebook page to check on the progress.

ACCOMMODATIONS

There are some local camping options available through SkyDog Projects and participating organizations, and Landers River Trips does have campsites and lean-tos available for rental.

Other options available include:
